Contributing
As a nonprofit organization we welcome the generous contributions of our residents, their families, volunteers and community donors. A donation is a wonderful way to honor or remember someone special.
Below are just a few examples of how your spirit of generosity will enhance our community and the lives of Oaks residents for many years to come:
- Chapel at The Oaks – furnishings and equipment such as pews, altar accessories, hymnals, chorus robes and music
- Campus architectural amenities such as bridges, gazebos, outdoor furnishings and benches, elevated gardening bed for residents’ use
- Alta and John Franks Community Centre – library books, computer equipment
- Music therapy programs at the Health Center at Live Oak
- Game tables and game supplies
Your contribution can be a gift to the general fund for resident enrichment or designated for a specific building or area. We are particularly pleased to acknowledge contributions to the memory of a loved one or in honor of a family member or friend.
The Oaks of Louisiana/Live Oak Retirement Community and the parent, Willis-Knighton Health System, are 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organizations.
